Konstantinos (Kostas) V. Kapogianis is Vice President and Board of Directors Secretary for VK Integrated Systems (VKIS). In addition, he is the Vice President and Co-founder of Geotech Development Corporation, a Real Estate Development and holding Company.
Before becoming part of VKIS, Kostas Kapogianis was the President of ISR Systems Engineering, LLC which he formed in January of 2009 after his December 2008 retirement from Raytheon/Hughes Aircraft. ISR Systems Engineering provided systems engineering consulting services for Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems, with a focus on Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and Ground Movement Target Indicator (GMTI).
Kostas Kapogianis has over 40 years of experience in Intelligence and Surveillance Systems. While at Raytheon/Hughes Aircraft he held several key positions in Program Management, radar system development, Systems Engineering, and Business Development/Strategic Planning. His expertise is in SAR/GMTI radar systems and multi-sensor system concepts and integration. He has managed several major multi-sensor systems, such as U-2/ASAR-2, Global Hawk, and ARL-M, from the development to the operational phases. He worked directly under highly successful Technical & Business Leaders gaining invaluable experience in Program Management, Strategic Planning, Proposals, and Business Development.
Kostas Kapogianis is currently the President of Saint John’s Greek Orthodox Church in Anaheim, California, and past Supreme President of the Pan-Arcadian Federation of America, a non-Profit Organization promoting Hellenism, Education, and Arcadian History.
